This week’s Sunday Specials are my 5 favourite bags spotted on instagram over the last week that bring you a taster of the pre Autumn or Fall and Winter ’19 fashion trends for bags. Get ahead and be inspired with a healthy serving of AW’19 instabags! If you’re sitting comfortably…
Touch the textiles
A big feature of AW’19 catwalks were tactile materials and exotic skins. Check out the Fendi favourite, the Peekaboo bag in a precious material. Wonderfully reinvented whilst the versatility of this bag remains strong.
A bag of croc
And it isn’t just Fendi getting in on the exotic skins. Givenchy has enrolled Ariana Grande to help, #Arivenchy! The mini Eden in crocodile effect leather can be carried as a handbag or shoulder bag. Thank U, Next!
Good things come in small packages
Not just one but two micro sized bags took my fancy. So for those fashionistas who follow every trend (and not practicality), firstly let me introduce you to the Mini Cube sling in a warm neutral chestnut colour from Building Block. Squeeze in a lipstick and keys and may be a few folded notes of cash?
However, when you just need to carry a few more bits but still want to stay micro as one of the bag trend demands, opt for the Bike Wallet from Kara with the statement chain strap. This bag option in black has just been restocked. Get in quick.
Totally totes
Size does totally matter for AW’19 season tote bags. Oversize remains the size of choice and the Attache bag from Marni will catch the eyes of those around you. The handle beautifully compliments the bag’s dimensions and this calf leather bag comes with a shoulder strap too.
There you have it – my five favourite bags from this week’s instagram feed that I hope will inspire your Autumn/Winter bag fashion desires.
Watch out for more AW’19 bag trends from the catwalks in future features. In the meantime, try and grab a bag in the SS19 sale that will see you through the next season. See if you can grab a bag bargain before the sales finish!
Happy shopping!
