Hands up for a preview of the SS’22 designer bag trends

I’m not a fan of sharing an edit of next season’s trends too early; it can be frustrating waiting for new collections to come in or having to preorder without even seeing the bag IRL. But let’s break with tradition because November is a mix of sale events; from Singles’ Day, Black Friday to Cyber Monday. Between now and end of November, plenty of fashion stores will be offering great discounts. And my top tip for sale shopping is to research the future trends, because sometimes you can get a bag that rocks a key shape and colour of the next season and you’ll be able sashay into spring or summer having saved some well-earned cash. So, with a week to go before some big discounts are due to appear, here’s the rundown of the SS’22 bag trends as set by the top fashion designers.

The best birthday gift bag!

And I don’t mean the paper ones with ribbon handles used as alternative wrapping or an elegant way to transport a gift. I’m talking about being confident enough to buy a friend or loved on a new bag all wrapped up as the gift! I’ve heard people shy away from buying someone a bag, with style and shape being so personal or being overwhelmed by the fashion trends of the season. One solution is to wrap up one of the classic designer bag icons. However, if the budget doesn’t allow or isn’t appropriate, here are six bags that just never go out of style, that won’t break the bank and will be coveted by other friends!

Thrift shopping has always been popular but for the last five years there has been a growing appetite to become more sustainable and a new energy in buying secondhand and preloved bags. You can find lots of online stores which create a marketplace to introduce buyers and sellers of designer brands. And more recently, you can find websites where you can rent a designer bag for a selected time period. But amongst all these options there is a new type of thrift shopping, a company in mainland Europe is specialising in vintage and you can enjoy 15% off.

How to bag a designer bag bargain for AW’20

Calling all bargain shoppers. Three years ago I went to one of the UK’s premier designer outlet shopping villages and returned with 3 top tips on how you could bag a designer bag deal at Bicester. Women’s fashion trends for AW’20

It’s unusual for me to share the trends of a future season so early; however, I think there’s a benefit to getting ahead.  When lockdown is lifted expect to be bombarded with messages from all brands; helping to stimulate demand and help the economy bounce back.  However, whether it’s been a case of having less to spend or changing priorities, our fashion consumption has reduced.  There’ll be lots of promotions to entice you back to former habits as lockdowns are lifted.  So the aim of this article is to give you a round up of the 7 women’s fashion trends for this autumn/winter, so you can shop smartly.  Scan the fashion trends summary below to know what to look for.
