Two retro clutch bags to choose from; the actual tape cassette as designed by From St Xavier in Australia or the Brooklyn boombox, straight out of New York, from Judith Leibner. Both brands are bead experts but come with very different price tags. Judith’s bags have four figure prices, so be prepared.
What’s in your bubble?
The latest bags from Susan Fang can’t help bring a smile due their fun factor. Whether you have a nostalgic moment and reminisce playing a game of marbles or just love the way light catches the crystal bubble beads in these two bags; on the left, the Bubble Bowl shoulder bag and on the right the Bubble Net shoulder bag.
From the iconic 1969 collection by Paco Robanne, this shoulder bag is crafted with silver-tone chainmail embellished with clear glass beads that suspend from a coordinating chain. Now to an iconic brand, Cult Gaia (famous for its bamboo crescent shaped handbag) brings us a dark beaded bag called the Cora. Or turn up the volume on a few AW’20 trends; a snap frame and chain strap which are found on the ASOS frame crossbody with pearl tassels.
Not all beads are clear. Check out these two handbags. On the left, from Rosantica, the zig zag beaded Janice bag with fringe embellishment, made in Italy, brings the wow factor. On the right, from the beaded sensation Shrimps, and their Antonia bag, this is a mini sized version with sparkling black geometric beads.
When you don’t want to spend too much, here are two under £100 options; in fact, both are under £30! Show your love for the beads with a heart shaped bag from Accessorize which would rock against a little black dress. Or if you want a colour pop, opt for the zesty orange red mini beaded shoulder bag from Zara. This bag will feel equally comfortable against a dress or a casual white shirt and jeans.
With all the beaded bags available in clutch, shoulder and handbag forms, there’s an evening bag that will work for everyone’s style of summer and winter night outs.
Wherever you may be enjoying some socially distanced night outs, bring some sparkle with your bag.
