Here’s your guide to the bags for the beach this year. Rest those feet and get them flip flop ready (or thongs if you are reading this Down Under!) and find where to buy the bags that you’ll want to keep and use again and again. There are bargain and bust options to suit all budgets, though all are worthy of a weekend in St Tropez or a fortnight in Cabo in Mexico!
But the way to navigate the 20 beach bag options below is whether you like your day bag to fit in everything, including the towel or you are happy strolling with the towel rolled up, casually placed under the arm and just need a bag to hold your lotion, reading material and phone.
Before we dive in, here’s a quick recap of some of the trends for this summer; pastels, embellishments, primary colours and clear vinyl. You’ll find them represented in this beach collection. For those not interested in trends, you will find below an eye catching collection of bags that would love to hang out on the breezy beaches of Ibiza, vibrant Ipanema in Brazil and Noosa with its 50 shades of blue, on the east coast of Australia.
So take a load off, raise those freshly pedicured feet and get ready to peruse both designer and high street options. Remember beach bags can be completely neutral as your maxi dress, sliders or swimwear shorts combo may well be delivering the colour pop for the day.
Are you sitting comfortably? If so, make your verdict on the beach bag options for Summer 2018!
