When you want to catch the eye on a day out, sometimes it’s worth considering the power of a handbag. Bags of fun are those bags that are off the scale for stand out design but might not be high on function. Here are 10 designers that make room in their collection for a bit of fun whilst staying true on their design credentials.

10. Stars in your eyes!
One of this season’s trends is a nod to the 80’s and 90’s and Saint Laurent give us the Kate shoulder bag covered in multi coloured star print design. Price £1250.
Some of us are okay with brightly coloured handbag to help stand out. For those of us who like to take things a little bit further, there are plenty of bags out there where the shape and print just add that sense of fun. You don’t have to spend big bucks but these designers should give you the inspiration to find that bit of ‘girls just wanna have fun’ feeling.
And before we fly away, a late entry from Tea and Tequila Trading Company, the Parrot bag, is available at £150. Check out the wonderful beadwork on neutral leather. This is a combo of some of this season’t stand out colours.
