Each season I compile a top 10 list of the fashion bags under £100. Researching the designers and retailers’ offerings this time was always going to be a challenge with inflation sweeping the globe and increasing prices. Fear not, whilst it has taken a bit longer than normal, here are your money saving fashion accessories that are bang on trend for autumn/fall and winter 2022/3.

Top 10 bags for AW/22
Channel your inner Valentino and go pink and bold! Check out the diamonte knot strap – your party or evening out bag is sorted! At Dune, £85. Other colours available.
Staying with the evening bag theme fit for a Christmas party, think embellishments. From Zara this bag brings rhinestones and fringe to the party. Price £59.99.
And the final beaded bag un this list is a diamonte bag which can be worn over the shoulder. Found at ASOS, this crystal bag is by Aldo, £70.
Soft and slouchy
A vegan choice from a brand that delivers joyous bags, JW Pei. This is a scrunched hobo style bag, in chilli red at £95. What a beauty! Lots of other colours available.
Why not add a bit of a zesty vibe to this autumn/winter with this weekend bag in suede from & Other Stories, at £75. (This brand needs to work on giving their bags better names😉).

My second favourite bag on this list is this high sheen structured frame bag from Next. Patent is a big trend this season and if you don’t feel comfortable with a full on patent polish, this bag is a winner. Price £38.
It’s a tote thing
Quilted bags have been around for a few seasons but I’ve let a stitched bag join the top 10 list because it stands fresh and proud. Now heads up I’m being a bit naughty here, as H&M have a dark beige version of this bag at £24.99. However, the green option here is in leather and is over budget at £139.99 but it’s too good not to mention.
And finally, a winter casual weekend isn’t complete sometimes without a flannel check. Why not wear it on your bag this time? It’s a cheaper option than shearling. Found also at H&M for £34.99.
This season’s top 10 bargain bag edit isn’t as international or as far reaching as usual. This is because exchange rate monitoring, over the last week, has had its challenges. However, I hope it gives the inspiration and reassurance that bargains can still be found.
