Here’s a little something for the weekend – the bags spotted on instagram from the designers who are regulars at Milan and Paris fashion weeks. Whilst they were busy wowing the world on the catwalks, I kept an eye on their instagram. These are the ones who brought us knock out handbags in the last week from miniature to see-through handbags, even flown in by drones!
First up, here come the Italians
1 Red hot Bulgari – primary colours are rocking Spring
2 Why walk the catwalk when you can fly – drone assisted bags from Dolce & Gabbana
3 Pond life awakes for Spring and finds a little Gucci!
4 Combining two primary colours is hot for Spring – check mate by Versace!
5 Curves and straight lines, dramatic geometrics – fiercely Fendi!
6 Travelling far for embellishments – welcome Bottega Veneta!
8 Hands up for storytelling from Prada
And from the French Quarter!
1 Miniature bags from Jacquemus are easily spotted on the catwalk. Merci!
2 Model of the moment hangs out with Chanel – let’s get transparent!
3 Not just one or two but three handbags framed by Longchamp
4 Put two primary colours together and you pack a punch – yellow and red from Lanvin
And whether these 12 designers are in your price range or not – let’s get inspired by their creativity and the styles they are rocking at the moment. Get to know the spring trends now to find the right bag for your wardrobe. And to help with budgets:
Until next week!
I adore my leather Longchamp bags. I’m a huge Longchamp fan because the bags wear so well and get better with age. Also–when I’m in France I always check out what Nat et Nin have to offer. I LOVE their bags. The leather is so freaking soft, there’s tons of nooks and crannies in the bags and they are, for the most part, unconstructed. Sop hie Sacs on Rue de Rennes carries many of the Nat et Nin bags at discounted prices. And the price point is great–many of the bags are less than 200 euros!!

Merci!!! Beaucoup!!! I ALWAYS head to two stores when I’m in Paris. CityPharma for all things skincare and Sophie Sacs for bags and Nat et Nins are great! I have about seven of them.
