How do you edit the designer handbag collections to find your ‘on trend’ accessory for Spring/Summer 2018? One way is budget – how much do you want to spend? Totes!
Spring trend check – PASTEL and this is a soft blue. From Celine, in calf leather @£2750. Lovely to see a more relaxed design from this sophisticated bag brand. Found at Selfridges London, yet to be added online.
Handy!
Spring trends check – TOP HANDLE and in 2 colour trends (pastel pink and primary red). From Valextra, introducing the Iside Ryokan @£2450. A brand that totally gets the top handles!
AND…a top handle, in pastel shades of pink, Burberry’s DK88 for £1395. Sounds like a new robot from Star Wars! Cute and casual with its long strap or chic when carried by hand.
Shoulder or hand
Spring trend – PASTEL. Puzzle bag from Loewe at £1895 in yellow multi-tone. Top tip: swap out the brown strap for a blue one to rock two colour trends; pastel and primary blue!
Crossbody or shoulder
Spring trend – PRIMARY colour. In this case it’s primary red courtesy of Prada. Add a pastel blue studs to the red to combine two of this season’s favourite colours. These are hot off the press, not available online. Go in store at Harrods and Selfridges!

Spring trend – PATCHWORK. From J W Anderson, the Pierce bag at £1250. When you don’t want a multi-colour checkerboard but want to keep it simple and monochromatic.
Neutral
Spring trend – NATURAL TAN. To pair with your Spring trench coat, a neutral or natural tan shoulder bag will keep your look girl about town, thanks to the Fendi Kan I @£1350.
